Carmenita Truck Center has been a leader in the alternative fuel truck industry for over 20 years
We started in the early eighties with the Ford F-700LPG chassis product. In 1992 we were the first in California to offer the Cummins L-10 Natural Gas engine for Refuse in our Xpeditor model LCOE.
We've come a long way since those early days.
Today we offer the Autocar with the ISL-G Cummins engine. This engine is factory installed and can operate on either CNG or LNG fuel.
We are also in the Hybrid vehicle business with the Hybrid Ford Escape, and the E-450 Strip Chassis and Cut A Way products.
When is comes to variety and range of alternative fuel powered trucks, no one can match the experience, knowledge and track record of Carmenita.

Current Funding Programs
C.A.R.B. Voucher Incentive Program - Overview (VIP)
C.A.R.B. fundingThe Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Attainment Program on-road heavy-duty vehicle Voucher Incentive Program (VIP) provides a streamlined approach to replace old, high-polluting vehicles with newer, lower-emission vehicles. VIP provides real emission benefits by retiring older, high polluting vehicles earlier than would have occurred through normal attrition or regulation. Funds for VIP projects are used to offset some of the cost of the lower-emission replacement vehicle.
Small fleet owners that operate vehicles with 1993 or older model year diesel engines in California, 75% of the time, may be eligible for this funding, towards the purchase of a vehicle that has a 2007 or newer diesel engine.
How much VIP funds can a vehicle owner receive?
